(via Tumkur, Arsikere, Kadur, Tarikere,and Shivamogga) KSRTC, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, runs several buses from Bangalore,including Hitech volvo and night services. Sagara is around 360 km (224 mi) by road from Bangalore. From coastal side, Sagara is accessible by bus. This route passes through Agumbe Ghat or Hulikal Ghat roads. Sagara is better connected with roads from all directions and it is an important bus junction. Bus service is provided by private bus operators like Prakash travels,Sri manjunatha transport,Sri gajanana and few more and KSRTC runs buses that connect Sagara to other places in Karnataka and a few buses to other states.
